Context of the role

BDO Consultancy is currently seeking an enthusiastic Communications Analyst Intern in London, specifically within the Marketing and Communication team. The Communications Analyst will support the communications campaigns for a portfolio of strategic Accounts, supporting internal and external communications across our delivery teams in addition to communications for our Client audience.

The successful candidate will support the develop of digital strategies and execute multiple and varied communications activities that comply with our marketing guidelines and policy. The role will feedback into the Communications Manager and will work hand in hand with the Operations teams to create appropriate business and people centric content in a professional, innovative formats that supports our community engagement.

 

Key Skills

  • Fluent spoken and written English [mandatory].
  • Working knowledge of all Microsoft Office applications, Canva [or equivalent graphic and video editing tools].
  • Strong proof-reading skills with an eye for detail coupled with the ability to customise content to suit different audiences.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with stakeholders of all levels.
  • A keen eye for compelling visual content when producing and designing communications items.
  • Proven ability to work under pressure
  • The ability to operate effectively and independently in an environment of constant change and to tight deadlines

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Working with Business Engagement lead & Business Development managers.
  • Support the Business Engagement Lead with creating content for key campaigns.
  • Create social content, ensuring quality and consistency in messaging
  • Provide excellent service to marketing and communication colleagues, helping them to make the most of our digital capabilities and channels.
